Riscure is a young, ambitious organization specializing in embedded security testing for leading international clients in the secure elements (embedded/integrated) industry. Additionally, Riscure is a leading vendor of specialist security testing products. We have over 180 employees with mixed technical and academic backgrounds, working from offices in Delft, The Netherlands; Shanghai, China; and San Francisco, USA. Riscure is organized into two units: Security Lab and Inspector Products.


We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer and Trainer to join the Products team.

Do you like to explain the theoretical background of security related topics as well as guiding trainees through hands-on exercises? Are you able to engage on a professional and personal level with smaller groups of trainees and be responsible to give them the best possible classroom training experience?


We ae looking for a seasoned security specialist who likes to bring across knowledge in an appealing and understandable way to both novice and experienced security analysts at Riscure customers. You will work from our office in Delft in the Netherlands and will be travelling to leading technology companies and institutions around the world. Installations of complex test set-ups are delivered at the customer’s premises. All communications with our customers are in English.

Your responsibilities

  • Training Program or Course Development: creating training content and materials and keeping existing content up to date
  • Training Program or Course Delivery: delivering training sessions or courses and using a mix of teaching methodologies and tools that include presentations, open discussions, and hands-on exercises.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with subject matter experts and coordinate with other trainers and team members to ensure the delivery of a coherent and high-quality training program.
  • Continuous Improvement: measure the effectiveness of training programs and courses, gather feedback from trainees and other stakeholders, implement enhancements based on this feedback

What skills should I have to be able to join?

  • You have experience in the field of hardware and software security
  • Experience with side channel analysis or fault injection is a plus
  • Technical background in electronics is a plus
  • You have the capabilities to identify the right approaches and initiatives to achieve an improved training experience
  • Being able to communicate on a professional level with our customers
  • Ability to listen to trainees and being able to handle needs for both novice and experienced customers
  • Stay positive under stress and be able to distinguish between main and secondary objectives
  • Give structured feedback to Riscure colleagues on improvement areas for the products
  • Since you will work in a team with international colleagues and international customers, being able to both speak and write English on a proficient level is required

You are a self-starter, eager to give and service oriented without losing sight of Riscure goals. In addition, you are curious and eager to learn and willing to travel abroad to customer sites.
