This role is central to Riscure’s growing business in the rapidly evolving security certification market, driven by exciting innovation in multiple markets, such as mobile, Internet of Things, payment, government and automotive. Riscure is a market leader in security certification services due to its technical expertise and strategic focus on continuous development of cutting-edge capabilities. Our Certification team is engaged in all technologies in the security certification context, requiring curiosity and drive to learn about various classes of attacks across a range of products and market verticals. After becoming closely acquainted with our services, skills and company philosophy, you will be self-driven to deliver your business performance targets. You will report to the VP of Global Services Sales based in our headquarters in Delft, The Netherlands.

You will grow Riscure business with international customers as you:

  • Gain deep understanding of our customers’ needs and build strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders in customer organizations, via highly consultative selling with focus on long-term relationship building. Translate customer requirements into attractive offers in close collaboration with our technical teams in security certification services.
  • Support development of new offerings in our security services portfolio based on market trends and your analysis of customer needs, and put in place the right sales and business development activities to differentiate our solutions. Build strategic partnerships and close relationships with other key market players (e.g., regulatory bodies).
  • Drive systematic learning from project executions and internal process improvement initiatives. High pace of innovation in this market requires holistic ownership of the customer relationship, from customer targeting, to acquisition, certification project delivery and further need identification and subsequent project(s) selling. This requires close collaboration with other Riscure teams, fostering cooperation and driving new process development where needed.

Job requirements

The ideal candidate is a curious, ambitious, and enthusiastic professional with a technical academic degree, a strong commercial drive and a passion for security certification, such as Common Criteria, EMVco, GSMA, GlobalPlatform, SESIP, PSA Certified, etc... You have proven that you can convert market interest into commercial results, particularly in consultative selling. You built meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations and strategic partnerships. You demonstrated holistic ownership of the sales process and service delivery with strong follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and future collaboration. You promote a culture of cooperation, mutual understanding and continuous learning, working across functions and teams within your organization. You feel at home in a growing and dynamic company and thrive in an innovation rich environment. You have a good feel for content, know how to create an appealing story line, and thrive in an innovation-rich environment. You have international experience and you are a natural networker. You will excel at and enjoy representing Riscure in industry relationships with key players and our customers.

Other requirements:

  • University/higher professional education degree (technical);
  • Strong affinity for information security and certification;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable consultative sales and business development position(s);
  • Experience in security certification is strongly preferred;
  • Strategic mind-set and ability to also work analytically;
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English;
  • Self-driven and result-oriented;
  • Team-player;
  • Creative, curious and eager to learn and improve;
  • Ability to travel internationally, occasionally.
